The Swiss 20 Franc Helvetia/Vreneli, nicknamed “Swiss Miss,” was minted at the Swiss National Mint in Bern from 1897 to 1936, in 1947, and in 1949. The obverse side depicts a timeless profile of Vreneli (the revered Swiss Miss), with the Swiss Alps in the background. Cresting over her head is the word “HELVETIA,” a reference to a Celtic tribe that once inhabited Switzerland. The coin comes 100 percent backed by the Swiss government.
