The Evaluation Process
We explain the evaluation process to you.
The entire process takes only minutes and is based on three things: the condition, intrinsic value, and current market prices. We will show you how we came to our determination.
We weigh each item and assess the metal’s purity.
A lot of jewelry is stamped or has an identifying marker that indicates the amount, or purity, of the precious metal in the jewelry. If there isn’t a stamp, there are other ways to determine the precious metal content.
We consider the collectibility, condition, and intrinsic value.
Some gold buyers overlook the value of the diamonds in your jewelry, which could exceed the gold value of the item. We are experts at evaluating jewelry and estate-sale pieces.
There is never any pressure to sell your jewelry.
Our offer will be based on current market prices. If you accept our offer, you can walk out the door with cash or a check. You can also decline our offer without any pressure. It’s your decision.
I took a bunch of old coins in that I thought would be worth some money. They took the time to go through it all and then explained what it was and made me an offer. I thought it might be worth more so I tried another shop. That shop only wanted to buy a few items, so I went back to Liberty and they paid me!
